In honor of Independence Day tomorrow, I share with you a little piece of my history. When we were kids, my brother and I liked to dress up as Colonial Americans. We used to vacation in Charleston and Williamsburg, so I suppose the interest stemmed from there. I would wear either my bride dress or Felicity costume and my Williamsburg bonnet. My brother would wear his softball pants, blazer, and tricorne hat. Here is the photo evidence (excuse my expression, sunglasses weren't available in Colonial times):
