Friday I'm in Love

It's Friday!  Thanks for stopping by to see what I'm digging this week.  Don't forget to pop over to the other gals' sites to see what they're loving, too: MishaKendraMary BethAmanda, and Aileen.  And welcome, Jessica!

ONE: Pina dress

Living in hot and humid Charleston, my summer uniform is a dress and sandals.  I've never felt comfortable in shorts and I find dresses so easy...a one-piece outfit.  So, naturally, I'm always on the lookout for a cute, new frock.  My closet's latest addition is the Pina dress from Anthropologie.  I've had my eye on it for a while.  Last week it hit the sale section and Anthro offered a 20% off Mother's Day promo.  I ended up getting the dress for a whopping 60% off.  It's beautifully fitted with an extra petticoat layer for some vintage volume.  I love the delicate pineapple lace (my favorite fruit).  I'd post a selfie in it, but I'm still frighteningly too pale.  Here's the model instead:

TWO: The Intern

Nancy Meyers is one of my favorite writer/producer/directors.  She's the genius behind Father of the Bride, Baby Boom, The Holiday, and Something's Gotta Give.  The set designs alone make her films worth watching.  Meyers' latest movie, The Intern, won't hit theaters until September, but the trailer premiered this week.  It stars Robert De Niro as Anne Hathaway's intern.  I haven't been to the movies in four years, but maybe this will be the catalyst to send me to the theater.

THREE: Bali's Best Tea Candy

I picked up these tea candies at Earth Fare the other day.  They're quite tasty!  I bought the iced tea (which totally tastes like freshly brewed iced tea) and the green tea latte (reminds me of a Thai iced tea).  If they pop up at your local store, give them a try!

FOUR: Grace and Frankie

Grace and Frankie premiered last Friday on Netflix and, well, I've already binge-watched it (twice).  It stars Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston.  It reminds me of a Nancy Meyers film turned sitcom (including the sets).  The show is really funny with a perfect cast.  Tomlin and Fonda couldn't be better!  What can I say, I'm a sucker for senior citizen humor.  In one scene, Grace (Fonda) is trying to teach Frankie (Tomlin) how to fold a fitted sheet.  Grace: "Take it by the corners."  Frankie: "There are no's round.  Anyone who can fold this is a powerful witch!"  Haha!  #truth

Have an awesome weekend!
