Friday I'm in Love

It's Friday!  Thanks for stopping by to see what I'm digging this week.  Don't forget to pop over to the other gals' sites to see what they're loving, too: MishaKendraMary Beth, and Amanda.

ONE: Listen To Me Marlon

I am a huge fan of Marlon Brando.  I feel this unexplainable connection towards him.  Listen To Me Marlon is a documentary debuting at Sundance.  It uses clips and recordings from his personal archive to give an intimate portrait of this extraordinary man.  I look forward to seeing if there is any mention of his life in Libertyville.  The clip below (via Deadline) illustrates one of the reasons I love Marlon: his respect for the Pacific Islands.  His commentary on the people of Tahiti sums up my feelings on my friends in Hawai'i.  I can't wait to see this film!  And hopefully visit Tahiti some day!

TWO: Tribest Humio Humidifier

It's well established that I have the interests of a senior citizen.  So, it should come as no surprise that I love humidifiers.  I've been lusting after the Tribest Humio Humidifier for over two years.  Every time I go into Earth Fare, I admire its sleek design and efficient output.  After my early January upper respiratory aggravation, I broke down and bought the Humio.  I love it!  It's far superior to the Target elephant humidifier I had.  It is super quiet, contains an aromatherapy drawer, and offers a light show.  Bonus: Tribest's customer service is Birchbox-level awesome.  If you're looking for a sleek, new humidifier, consider this one.

Back when I lived in Hawai'i, POG was a staple.  It's a delicious blend of passionfruit, orange, and guava juices.  The two popular brands are Hawaiian Sun and Aloha Maid.  Wednesday, I was browsing the abundant pop aisle at Southern Season, when my eyes happened upon cans of Aloha Maid POG!  I had just been to Whole Foods to pick up a couple of boxes of Bubbies Mochi...and then I find POG!  I also snagged some cans of Passion Orange and a few bottles of Waialua Soda Works.  Alooha!

FOUR: Madewell Flea Market Flares

The sixties folk singer within me wants these new Madewell Flares.  The shrimp 'n grits foodie within me thinks the high-waist might be a little bit restrictive (aka these are not eatin' pants).  Which me will win?
